Sanwo-Olu Congratulates Ekiti Governor-Elect, Oyebanji
…says he looks forward to working with BAO on Tinubu’s Presidential Election
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has congratulated Ekiti State Governor- Elect, Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, describing his election as
a befitting reward for months of hard work and planning.
He said the All Progressives Congress (APC), recognised the Governor-elect’s sterling qualities, competence and wealth of experience which informed his choice among qualified aspirants during the primary election.
The Lagos Governor, in a personally signed letter to Oyebanji, said he looked forward to working with him on the presidential campaign of the APC flagbearer, Aaiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Sanwo- Olu wrote: “Your victory on the platform of our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) is a befining reward for months of hard work and planning as well as for your long years of personal sacrifices, loyalty and contributions to the growth and development of Ekiti State.
“Our Party, the All Progressives Congress recognised your sterling qualities, competence and wealth of experience which informed your choice among qualified aspirants during the primary election.
“It is also an affirmation by the people of Ekiti State of the capacity of our party as evidenced by the excellent performance of His Excellency, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who you will be succeeding a few months from now.
“The good people of Ekiti have spoken in a clear and unambiguous voice through the ballot, setting a record only not by giving you a landslide victory, but also by making you the first candidate in the State to succeed an outgoing elected Governor from the some porty. I have no doubt that with your election and extensive knowledge of Ekiti State, the
trajectory of development and prosperity of the Land of Honour will be sustained and deepened under your leadership.
“As I wish you divine strength and wisdom to successfully execute the task of taking Ekiti State to the next level.
“I look forward to working with you to ensure victory for our Party and our leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in the 2023 Presidential election.”.
